PHL Terminal A East

Philadelphia Airport Terminal A East used to be the international terminal, which is nowadays Terminal A West.

Located in the Terminal A building, shares the building with Terminal A West. 

Currently it is home of American, Aer Lingus and Frontier Airlines, mostly for domestic flights.

Please note that the facilities of this terminal are prepared to handle international arrivals. International passengers are led to Customs in Terminal A West.

It is home of 11 boarding gates: A2 to A13, with the exception of gate A5.

Levels

Terminal A East consists of the following levels:

First level

Arrivals and Baggage claim area. Access to ground transportation options too. 

Second level

Departures and ticketing. Security check is located here. Please note that it is connected to the baggage claim area and to the terminal connector to Terminal B & C.

Third level

International Arrivals.

Fourth level

Airline lounges. Find here American Admirals Club, and several other services.

Transfer between terminals

Terminal A East is connected to Terminal A West through the ticketing area.

All terminals are connected via airside, however depending on your terminal you will have to walk several minutes. 

There is also a shuttle airside, that runs from Terminal F to Terminals A-East and C every five minutes.
