Transport to and from Philadelphia Airport

Train

SEPTA provides service between the City Center of Philadelphia and the airport. Trains run every 30 minutes from 4.20am to 11.40 pm (City Center-Airport) and from 5.07am to 12.30am (Airport-City Center).

 

Stations: Terminal E/F - Terminal C/D - Terminal B - Terminal A (East) - Eastwick - University City - 30th Street and three City Center stations along Market Street.

Ticket prices (one way): To City Center - $8.00. Beyond City Center - $9.00.

Connections to other SEPTA rail lines and can be made at University City, 30th Street, Suburban and Jefferson Stations.

 

Bus

SEPTA also provides bus routes at Zone 1 of Philadelphia. At the airport, the bus stop is located on the Arrivals Road, outside of the Baggage Claim.

 

- Route 37: runs to/from South Philadelphia and Chester, pa.

- Route 108: runs to/from 69th Street Transportation Center.

- Route 115: runs to/from Suburban Square, Ardmore.

 

Ticket price: $2.25.

Transfers are available on-board buses for an additional $1.00.

Taxis

Taxis are located at Zone 5 on the Commercial Transportation Roadway. All taxis are metered and there is a charge of $28.50 to go to/from Philadelphia airport to/from the City Center.

Metered Taxicab Rates: between $2.70 and $2.30 per mile or portion thereof. There is a $10 minimum fare from the Airport to any destination. Passengers can pay with cash and credit cards.

 

Road

Drivers can access to Philadelphia airport from an interchange with I-95, which heads north toward Center City Philadelphia and south into Delaware County. PA 291 heads northeast from the airport area and provides access to and from I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway).
