PHL Terminal A West

Philadelphia Airport Terminal A West opened in 2003 and is the main international terminal of Philadelphia Airport.

Terminal A West serves all international flights that doesn’t require US Preclearance facilities. On the other hand, it has US Immigration and Customs services.

It is home of American for its domestic and international services, and also for Icelandair, Lufthansa, British Airways and Qatar Airways.

International Arrivals gets to the boarding gates located in both Terminal A West and Terminal A East, while they are processed at Terminal A West.

Terminal A West is home of 13 boarding gates: A14-A26.

Levels

Take a look to the levels at Terminal A West:

First level

Arrivals level. It connects with the Garage A West. There is the baggage claim area and access to ground transportation options. 

Second level

Ticketing and Departures level. Access through security check. Please note that this level is connected to Terminal A East ticketing level.

Third level

International Arrivals.

Transfer between terminals

All terminals are connected via airside, however depending on your terminal you will have to walk several minutes. 

There is also a shuttle airside, that runs from Terminal F to Terminals A-East and C every five minutes.
